About the event
Welcome to Isola (the island) of Milan, a neighborhood established on the outskirts of the city in the 16th century that has become one of the most interesting places in the city. During the tour, we will get to know the area's history and discover how the neighborhood has transformed in recent years from a working-class and lower-class district into a center of culture and food. The tour showcases the successful blend of Italian tradition with modern twists, old and new. What to expect on the tour:
- A Milanese pizzeria from the 1970s
- A family-owned Italian deli
- Italian coffee, of course
- Northern Italian pasta dishes
The tour lasts about four hours, with moderate walking and several stops for tastings along the way. The price includes the cost of food and drinks during the tour. The number of participants is limited to eight per tour. You will receive the meeting point by email immediately after registration. The tour is led by Itay Novik.
You can cancel your registration up to 48 hours before the tour for a full refund.
