About the event
Welcome to Milan's Chinatown, home to the largest Chinese community in Italy. During the tour, we will explore the history of the area and Chinese immigration, and discover how this street, once filled with family-run Chinese businesses, has transformed over the past decade into one of the busiest areas in the city. The tour offers a perfect blend of Italian and Chinese, showcasing the successful combination of both cultures. What to expect on the tour:
- A 50-year-old Milanese pizzeria
- Chinese hot pot
- A visit to an Asian supermarket with unique products
- A family-owned wine bar with a huge selection of wines by the glass
- Asian coffee and desserts, of course
The tour lasts about four hours, with moderate walking and several stops for tastings along the way. The price includes the cost of food and drinks during the tour. The number of participants is limited to eight per tour. You will receive the meeting point by email immediately after registration. The tour is led by Itay Novik.
