The tour describes the historical developments in the area through the local food. From the farmers' markets to the luxurious department stores of the early 20th century, Berlin has changed a lot over the years. The area, which is poor in natural resources, has been greatly influenced throughout history by the cuisines of immigrants and geographically close areas. On the tour we will pass through local markets and food establishments that tell the story of Berlin.

The route can be changed according to your personal preferences and can be booked every day between Tuesday and Saturday. The tour lasts about four hours. Please indicate in the referral form if you suffer from allergies or any food restrictions.

Prenzlauer Berg is today the neighborhood most associated with Berlin's young families. But in the 1990s it became known precisely for its kicking fringe culture and before that it was part of East Berlin. On this tour we will go through the best patisseries in the city and two excellent food markets and of course we will also talk about the development of the neighborhood and the city.
