Who am I?

Hello, I'm Udi. I grew up in Haifa, and I have been living in Berlin since 2012. I live near the Charlottenburg neighborhood, so I know the neighborhood intimately. However, every visit I make to the neighborhood is a reminder that I am in a never-ending process of getting to know it. This process allows me to discover innovative and surprising culinary gems in the neighborhood, which find their place alongside the old culinary institutions that preserve unique flavors and techniques from the past. My most favorite places will make up our culinary journey in Charlottenburg. A journey that will lead us through the cultural mosaic that characterizes the bourgeois culinary life of one of the affluent and vibrant neighborhoods in the city.

I also know Berlin through an anthropological study that I am conducting these days as part of a doctoral thesis. Research study on encounters between Jewish and Muslim in Germany.
